RDS/USF Returns

RDS takes back anything that Cardinal or Peyton will not accept. However, we rarely receive any credit from them, so it is our LAST resort. RDS is mostly a convienent disposal of our unsaleable drugs. They take back partial and out of date CIIs, partial ointment tubes and any damaged items.

There are two simple forms for RDS - a non-controlled form and a controlled form. Fill in the appropriate information on the appropriate form. Use the supplemental forms after the first page. Controlled items must be authorized before sending them to RDS.

RDS returns can only be sent four times per year - in January, April, July and October. Package items carefully and use a preprinted RDS/USF label which your pharmacy should have.
